The Wasp is designed to be
powered by an inexpensive
CD-ROM type Brushless
outrunner motor like the GBv1.1
from www.GoBrushless.com
With this setup the Wasp will go
vertical and keep going - FAST!!!
Special tools are included in the
kit to help the builder with tasks
that normally can be a bit tricky
or just irritating.
This tool helps to adjust the
control throw of the elevons
to ensure a safe first-flight.
The special Center of Gravity
Cradle makes the task of
balancing the model right a
"Piece of Cake" Assemble the
CG Cradle and place the Wasp
on it. The nose of the model
should be flush with one end of
the cradle. In this excact position
the model should be in balance
Interlocking parts and the unique
D-box construction make the
Wings of the Wasp very light and strong.
The wings are designed to be built
on a flat surface.
The upper half of the fuselage houses the battery and is held in place by small neodym-magnets. In case of a rough landing the battery and topfuselage just slides of thus minimizing the risk of damage to the battery and the plane.
